Description

The G260 takes its low pressure hose on either side, and that one feature is why this pairing turns up on twin sets and sidemount rigs. A long hose can leave the second stage on the left for a right shoulder route with no mirror-image part and no awkward loop across the neck, so the regulator is plumbed to suit the rig rather than the other way round. The Carbon build keeps the large diaphragm, internal metal components and high flow exhaust valve of the standard G260 under a carbon fibre front cover that resists substantial shocks without damage, which matters where a steel cylinder rubs against it, and the Black Tech coating protects the metal underneath. The air-balanced valve evens inhalation effort as depth and supply pressure change, set by a diver-adjustable knob and a VIVA switch. The MK25 EVO BT first stage is an air-balanced flow-through piston with XTIS insulation. It suits a technical diver routing a long hose.
