Description

Above 8500 litres per minute at 200 bar is more airflow than a single second stage can use, and that is deliberate. The headroom is there for the moment a buddy is breathing off the same first stage during an air share, when a lesser stage would start to fall behind. This is an air-balanced flow-through piston whose XTIS insulation raises freezing resistance 30 percent over the MK25 before it, running 9.2 to 9.8 bar intermediate pressure at working pressures to 300 bar. The body is polished chrome-plated marine-grade brass with external thermal fins and a patented finned cap against icing. Five high-flow low pressure ports sit on a swivel turret beside two opposing high pressure ports, and those opposed ports let the stage sit either way up so the gauge hose falls to the side it is read from. Intermediate pressure adjusts externally without a strip down. It suits a diver building a set around maximum airflow.
