SCUBAPRO MK25 EVO / G260 CBT + R105 Octo

Description

A backplate configuration puts the second stage hard against a metal plate on a boat deck and in the back of a bakkie. Carbon fibre absorbs that without a dent where metal changes shape, and the dark Black Tech coating hides the scuffing that shows on polished chrome, so the rig survives handling rather than looking spent after a season of it. Underneath the cover the G260 is unchanged: large diaphragm, metal internal components, high-flow exhaust valve, diver-adjustable inhalation knob, VIVA dive and pre-dive switch and a hose attachment that reverses left or right. The MK25 EVO BT is an air-balanced flow-through piston with five low pressure ports on a swivel turret, two opposing high pressure ports and XTIS insulation, and an R105 octopus completes the set on a metre of yellow hose. This configuration is a special order, so allow extra lead time. It suits a technical diver whose kit takes hard handling.
