SCUBAPRO Monorail Weight Pocket Set

Description

The Hydros Pro 2 ships with no weight pockets fitted, and this is the system that completes it. Each pocket slides onto the monorail on its side of the BCD and locks there, releasing single-handed on the grey D-handle, which is a release that can be found and pulled by feel in gloves without looking down at a buckle. Riding on the rail keeps the lead near the centreline, trimming better than a pouch slung off a waist band, and loading is done off the BCD on the deck with the full pocket slotted in afterwards. Two capacities are made: standard at up to 4.5 kilograms and mini at up to 2.3. Both are self-draining, so no seawater comes up the beach in the pocket. A pair of standards carries 9 kilograms and a pair of minis 4.6, so a diver in a 7 millimetre semi-dry often runs trim pockets on the tank band as well. Eight colours are stocked. It suits any Hydros Pro 2 owner setting the BCD up.
