Apeks MTX-R Sidemount Set

Description

Cold water sidemount asks more of a regulator than any other configuration, because two first stages sit exposed and either one freezing ends the dive. This set puts MTX-R regulators on both cylinders. The MTX-R was built to military cold water specification, so the pair holds up where lesser regulators start to free flow. Two DIN first stages with 5 port swivel turrets carry two MTX-R second stages, and the hoses come in the right lengths already: 210cm for the long hose and 65cm for the short. On a cave dive the short exhaust ports keep bubbles off the ceiling and the line. On a drysuit dive one 25cm inflation hose feeds the suit and the other the wing. Two Tek gauges, a 90 degree elbow and a bolt snap finish it. It suits a technical diver running sidemount in cold water.
