Description

Rinsing a wetsuit in fresh water gets the salt out and leaves everything else behind, which is why a suit that has been rinsed for two seasons still smells and still irritates the skin. This is a proper detergent for neoprene: low acid at pH 5.5, formulated to clean neoprene without stripping it, and specifically useful before wearing microporous suits, where residue against bare skin is what causes irritation. The formula is designed to minimise its impact on aquatic ecosystems, which matters given where the rinse water usually ends up. It is supplied in 500 ml for personal use, with a 5000 ml rental container also produced for centres washing a rack of suits at a time. That answers a suit worn hard through a season, a rental fleet and anyone whose skin reacts to a suit. It suits a diver, surfer or dive centre maintaining neoprene properly.
