NERD 2 CHARGING CLIP

Description

A NERD 2 carries 18 hours of dive time on an internal cell that cannot be swapped at the water's edge, so the charging clip is the only route back to a working computer and losing it ends a trip. This is the factory replacement. On an expedition where the unit is charged nightly from a generator or a power bank, a second clip removes the single point of failure. On a rebreather course where the display runs every day, a spare keeps the diver in the water. On a long boat transfer it charges from a laptop USB port. The clip snaps onto the back of the case and takes power from any standard USB source, so no proprietary plug is needed. It suits any NERD 2 owner diving away from a workshop, and it stores neatly in the Ballistic Nylon Carrying Case for NERD 2.
