NOVA 850 TEC
The SCUBAPRO Nova 850 Tec is a single-mode dive light delivering 850 lumens through a focused 8 degree beam. One mode is the point: there is no cycling through settings and nothing to select wearing dry gloves, and a technical diver knows exactly what the light will do when it comes on.
The narrow 8 degree beam is what reaches into dark compartments in a wreck and crevices on a deep reef, where a wide beam would simply light the water column. The body is machined from heavy-duty aluminium, and activation is a simple twist on and twist off, with no switch to leak through. Double O-ring seals and an over-pressure valve handle the sealing and any battery off-gassing, and it is depth-rated to 300 m.
