The SCUBAPRO Nova 850 delivers 850 lumens through a focused 8 degree beam, running on three C cells rather than a proprietary rechargeable pack. That is worth something on a trip: C cells can be bought anywhere, and a light that takes them never becomes unusable because a charger was left at home.

A 50 percent mode extends burn time where full output is not needed. The body is machined from heavy-duty aluminium in a matte black finish with blue accents, and an extended light head shroud keeps the beam out of other divers' eyes. Double O-ring seals maintain watertight integrity. Batteries are not included.
