NRS Buckle Bumper Straps (Pair)

Description

A bare cam buckle slapping against a car roof at speed leaves its mark, and the NRS Buckle Bumper Straps wrap that buckle in a polyurethane guard so the paint and the kayak both arrive unmarked. Under the bumper is the NRS cam buckle with dual stainless steel springs, which bite evenly into the webbing without slipping. The 25 mm polypropylene webbing does not stretch when wet, carries a UV treatment, and is rated at 680 kg (1,500 lb) minimum breaking strength with a 227 kg (500 lb) working load limit. On the drive to a shore dive the straps hold a kayak to a roof rack or cylinder crates in a bakkie load bin; on a raft they lash dry bags to the frame. The length is etched on the buckle, a woven label takes the owner's name, and a bottle opener hides in the buckle. They come as a pair. They suit paddlers, boaters and divers who move gear on roof racks, trailers and boats.
