OMS Airstream DIN First Stage

Description

Hose routing decides how tidy a regulator set sits on the shoulders, and the OMS Airstream DIN First Stage is forged with its ports angled to keep every hose close to the body. The four low pressure ports point 30 degrees down and 23 degrees out so hoses run straight over the shoulders, while the two high pressure ports angle 45 degrees down to keep a pressure gauge near the hip. Inside, an overbalanced diaphragm works with wider gas passages, and OMS quotes a work of breathing of 0.8 joules per litre for its Airstream regulators. The body is environmentally sealed and carries a forged heat-transfer section at the front, built for cold inland dives and winter sea temperatures. It is rated to 300 bar with a DIN connection, finished in black PVD and ready for nitrox up to 40 percent. It suits a diver building a regulator set around a first stage made for clean hose routing.
