OMS Airstream Evoque DIN Regulator

Description

Cold water is where many regulators start to struggle, and the OMS Airstream Evoque is built for it, pairing an overbalanced first stage with a balanced, adjustable second stage. The Airstream first stage is forged, environmentally sealed and has a heat-transfer section in the front of the body, and OMS quotes a work of breathing of 0.8 joules per litre. Its low pressure ports angle 30 degrees down and 23 degrees out, so the hoses route over the shoulders and stay close to the body. The Evoque second stage has an adjustment knob with a clutch that stops over-tightening, a large dive and pre-dive switch that works in thick gloves, and an exhaust tee with a hinged door for clearing grit from the exhaust valve. The tee sends bubbles out to the sides rather than across the mask. It suits a diver who wants a cold-ready DIN regulator with tidy hose routing.
