OMS Corrugated Hose 19 inch

Description

A split or perished corrugated hose can end a dive on the spot, and a spare in the save-a-dive box keeps the trip on track. The OMS Corrugated Hose is a 19 inch (about 48 cm) length of rubber hose that replaces the corrugated inflator hose on OMS wings and on many other wings and BCDs built to the same pattern. On a liveaboard it is one of the parts most worth carrying, because salt, sun and rough handling eventually crack an older hose at its folds. At home it is a straightforward refit during an annual service, held in place with cable ties at the elbow and at the inflator end. The 19 inch length pairs with the 19 inch version of the OMS elbow assembly, so the pull-dump cable and the inflator sit where the diver expects them. It suits a wing or BCD owner who keeps spares on hand or is replacing a tired hose.
