OMS Mounting Straps for Mono or Twin Cylinders

Description

Not every rig has spare holes in the backplate for a small cylinder, and these straps fix one to the main cylinder instead. The OMS Mounting Straps for Mono or Twin Cylinders hold a small cylinder of up to 115 mm in diameter against a single cylinder or a twinset. Because nothing attaches to the plate, the small cylinder stays with the main cylinders and moves between rigs without touching the backplate. On a drysuit dive from a single cylinder, they carry an argon or suit-inflation bottle along the main cylinder. On a twinset, the same straps hold the small cylinder against the pair and leave the backplate free for other kit. Each strap carries a friction pad to stop the small cylinder sliding, and the long webbing tails close round a large cylinder or a twinset. They suit a drysuit diver who wants a suit-inflation bottle carried on the cylinders rather than the plate.
