The print is drawn from the sea sponge, one of the oldest animal forms still living, rendered as the cell structure that lets sponges filter and adapt, pale blue over navy across the whole towel. Sponges earn the reference. Together with the photosynthesising organisms living inside them they give back as much as three times the oxygen and organic matter they use up, move an enormous volume of water through themselves daily, and hold up both the marine food web and the biodiversity of a reef. A woven OceanPositive label is stitched into the border.
