Description

A remote control on a camera rig has to reach the light without a wire that can flood, corrode or short, and optical fibre is the answer: it carries the signal as light through a sealed run with no electrical connection at either end, so there is nothing to leak into and nothing to corrode. This is the one metre length, which is right for a light mounted on a short arm close to the tray, where the shorter run keeps slack off the rig and out of the way of the clamps. A two metre length covers lights pushed out on long arms behind a dome port. It works with the remote control capable models: the VL36000PBRC, VL20000PBRC, CB16500PBRC, VL11000PBRC, CB11000PBRC, CB4000PBRC and VL15000PBRC Plus. It suits a photographer running a remote controlled light on a short arm.
