B90 Battery Pack

Description

A video light that needs its pack charged before the next dive turns a four-dive day into a two-light day. The OrcaTorch B90 is the spare 38 Wh pack for the D900V and D910V, so a flat pack comes out on the boat and a charged one goes straight in. Inside are three 18650 lithium-ion cells in a 12.6 V pack, and a full charge takes about 2.5 hours. On a liveaboard running dawn, day and night dives, one pack goes on charge while the other goes in the water. On a dedicated shoot it keeps the light running through a long afternoon session on a wreck instead of ending it at the first low-battery warning. And in a trip kit it sits as the save-a-dive spare that stops one faulty pack from grounding the camera for a week. On the D900V a full pack gives about 2.75 hours of neutral white flood at 2200 lumens. It suits a D900V or D910V owner who dives more than twice a day.
