ZJ18 Ball Joint Bracket

Description

A diver who already owns a good primary torch does not need to buy a second light for filming. The ZJ18 clamps around the one they have and presents a one inch ball on its back, the standard fitting a camera arm clamp closes on, so the same torch goes onto a rig and comes off again afterwards with no modification to it at all. That also means the spare cells, the charger and the wrist strap already in the bag still apply. It takes bodies from 23 to 27 millimetres, covering the D530, D530V, D700, D710, D710V MK2 and ZD710 MK2, which is most of the range apart from the canister heads and the large-diameter video lights. Construction is aluminium throughout, and the one inch ball joins OrcaTorch arms and other makes alike. Lights outside that range, including the D630 head and the D950V, do not fit. It suits a diver putting an existing torch onto a camera rig.
