Ball Joint Bracket
The OrcaTorch ZJ18 is the fixed point that turns a handheld torch into a tray-mounted photography light, a ball joint bracket built specifically to clamp around the torch head rather than a separate arm segment.
Machined from corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy, it clamps onto torch diameters between 23mm and 27mm (some listings quote 23-28mm; check your specific light against the exact figure). That range covers a wide slice of OrcaTorch's compact-to-mid lineup, including the D500+, D500V+, D520, D530, D530V, D550, D700, D710, D710V, and ZD710 MK2, so it's less a niche accessory than a near-universal fit across the brand's smaller torches.
At just 50 grams, the ZJ18 adds negligible weight to a rig that's often already carrying a housing, tray, and one or two arms. The ball head itself rotates a full 360 degrees, giving genuine freedom to angle a light exactly where a shot needs it rather than settling for whatever position the arm happens to land in. A resin handle section is shaped for finger grip, making tension adjustments straightforward even with gloved hands.
Note that the bracket ships without the universal-joint extension, it's the clamp and ball head only, so factor in whether you already have an arm segment to pair it with before ordering.
