MX05 Mask Mount

Description

Some dives need both hands on something other than a torch, and a light held in the teeth or wedged in a pocket points nowhere useful. The OrcaTorch MX05 Mask Mount clips the D560 mini dive light to the side of a dive mask, so the beam goes where the diver looks. On a night dive it leaves both hands free for a reel, a slate or a camera. In a swim-through or under an overhang it lights the gap ahead of the diver without a hand coming off the rock. And as a backup it keeps a small second light on the head, ready the moment a primary fails. The trade-off is plain: a head-mounted beam swings with every glance, so it can dazzle a buddy during hand signals, and it is not a substitute for a primary torch. It is made for the D560 only, which is sold separately. It suits a D560 owner who wants a hands-free light.
