Torpedo

Description

A marker light that has to be packed for night dives gets forgotten on the one dive it was needed. The Torpedo runs over 200 hours on three LR44 button cells, which is a season of night diving before a change, so it stays clipped to a BCD permanently and nothing has to be remembered. It measures 59.4 millimetres tall and 22 millimetres across, rated to 150 metres. On a cylinder valve or a shoulder strap it remains visible from behind and above, where a buddy actually is, unlike a torch beam that only shows where someone is looking. Four colours are stocked, blue, green, red and yellow, one per light, so a group is identified at range without signalling. OrcaTorch also build it in white. Above water it works equally for camping, caving or any group activity after dark. It suits a diver who wants a permanent marker rather than one more thing to pack.
