WS01 Wrist Strap

Description

Running a reel, holding a camera or managing a deployed marker leaves no hand for a torch, and the usual answer is to clip it off and lose the beam at the exact moment it was needed. The WS01 holds a mid-sized light against the wrist on a thickened canvas band, so the hand comes back and the beam keeps pointing forward. It takes bodies from 24 to 28 millimetres, which covers most of the handheld range, including the ORCA7, D500, D520, D530, D530V, D550, D570, D700, D710 and D710V. One size closes with hook-and-loop over a wetsuit or drysuit cuff and releases with a gloved hand, on either wrist. The canvas is thick but soft, holding the torch tight enough that it cannot rotate, and it dries fast rather than staying wet in a bag. OrcaTorch advise a lanyard from torch to strap in addition, because the strap frees the hand and the lanyard is what keeps the light. It suits a diver who needs a hand back without losing the beam.
