O'RING PICKS - SET OF 3 + SILICONE
The H2O O-Ring Pick Set is three picks plus silicone grease, for removing and refitting o-rings without damaging them. The reason for picks rather than a screwdriver is simple: a metal blade scores the sealing groove, and a scored groove leaks with any o-ring in it.
The silicone grease is the other half of the job. An o-ring fitted dry drags in its groove and can roll or nick on installation, and a lightly greased one seats properly. Both belong in a save-a-dive kit alongside the spare o-rings themselves.
