Aqualung Pack Helix DIN + Octo

Description

Two second stages, two hoses and a first stage add up quickly on a luggage scale, and this is the lightest complete pair Aqua Lung build. The Helix pack puts the 475 g DIN first stage together with its matching octopus, both on braided hoses that pack flat and resist kinking rather than springing out of a folded bag. Work of breathing at the primary is 0.85 joules per litre, close to the top of the range. Buying the two together also means one service schedule and one set of spare parts rather than two. That answers a warm-water trip with a strict baggage limit, a second set kept for a buddy, and a diver moving off rental equipment onto their own. It suits a travelling diver buying a regulator and octopus together.
