Description

Buying fins for a family means buying four pairs in four sizes, and a rental boat needs a rack of them. The Palau was designed around removing that problem: its foot pocket adapts across three or four adjacent sizes, so one pair covers several feet and a charter can stock a handful of sizes instead of a wall. It is an open-heel design worn barefoot, which is how it manages that range, and the pocket is soft enough to be comfortable rather than merely tolerant. The second design brief was ease of donning, so it goes on quickly on a moving boat or at the water's edge without a struggle. The blade uses a lightweight material that still produces useful thrust. Sizes span EU 29/32 to 44/47 across three colourways. It suits a family, a dive store or a charter boat that needs fins to fit more than one person.
