Pebax Blow Gun

Description

Water left in a camera housing thread, a torch cap, computer buttons or a zip closure turns into corrosion over a week in a bag, and the damage shows on the next trip rather than this one. A towel reaches none of those places. This couples to a standard LP inflator or drysuit hose and puts a controlled jet of air where they are, running off the same first stage that feeds the BCD with no compressor involved. The body is Pebax, a flexible moulding whose nose bends to aim and meter the jet. Listed uses run to drying gear, blowing sand out of threads and grooves, and putting air into a flat tyre or an inflatable boat; an o-ring groove blown dry before reassembly seals first time. Supplied as the gun alone, since the LP hose comes off an existing first stage. It is not compatible with Buddy BC inflator hoses, and it runs on cylinder air. It suits a diver drying kit properly after a rinse.
