Description

Side windows on a mask are usually an afterthought in soft plastic that scratches within a season and then obscures more than it shows. The Penta uses a scratch-resistant material for its clear side windows that Cressi rate as stronger than either glass or polycarbonate, which is what allows them to stay useful. With four lenses in total the mask gives lateral visibility and a level of brightness a two-lens design cannot, and the patented raked, inverted teardrop main lenses add the downward view that keeps dive equipment in sight. Skirt and strap are hypoallergenic silicone rather than cheap PVC, so the seal stays comfortable. The buckles are embedded in the frame for instant one-handed adjustment. Internal volume is very low and the whole mask weighs 175 g. It suits a diver who wants panoramic side vision without a fragile window.
