PERDIX BATTERY CAP

Description

The whole case for a replaceable AA computer rests on one part, and it is the battery cap, because a cross threaded or perished cap floods the computer on the next descent. This is the factory spare. On an expedition where batteries are changed in the field, a second cap means a dropped or sanded one does not end the diving. On a boat with a wet deck the cap is the piece most likely to roll into the bilge mid change. After a few seasons the O ring groove wears and a fresh cap restores the seal properly rather than being nursed with grease. It fits the Perdix, Perdix 2 and Perdix 3.
