The Shearwater Perdix/Petrel Strap Kit is a factory OEM replacement for the elastic straps fitted to the Perdix, Perdix AI, Perdix 2, and Petrel dive computers, intended for divers replacing straps worn from regular use rather than for a first fit. Each strap is 1.9cm wide and made from marine-grade elastic material designed to compensate for depth, keeping tension consistent as ambient pressure changes through a dive. Sewn-in slide-release plastic buckles handle fastening, allowing quick adjustment even with thick wetsuit or drysuit gloves.

The kit includes two straps, covering a full replacement rather than a single side. Fit differs slightly by model: the Perdix is thinner and more contoured, giving a reduced profile on the wrist, while the Petrel carries a larger case and correspondingly higher weight. One strap from this kit also fits the Teric. Colour options include black and orange, depending on retailer stock. This is an elastic strap replacement only; divers wanting the quick-release Remora system should note it isn't compatible with the Perdix or Petrel, which use a different mounting design to the Teric, Tern, and Tern TX.
