Shearwater Perdix/Petrel Strap Kit

Description

A full size computer sits badly on anything but a proper strap, and the webbing Shearwater supply is the reason a 190 gram Perdix stays flat on a wrist instead of rolling under it. Straps wear out. This kit replaces them. On a drysuit dive the webbing adjusts over a seal and a wrist ring where silicone would not reach. On a technical dive with the computer worn over a suit the double strap spreads the load so the case does not tip. On a boat with a fleet of rental computers, orange straps make it obvious at a glance whose is whose. Black and orange are both offered, and orange has the practical advantage of being visible if the computer is dropped in a bag. They suit any Perdix, Perdix 2, Perdix 3, Petrel 2 or Petrel 3 owner replacing a worn or perished strap.
