PEREGRINE CONSOLE BOOT
SKU 56032-01
Description
The boot is the part of a console that takes every knock, so it perishes and splits long before the instruments inside it wear out, and a split boot lets grit sit against the housing. These are the factory replacements, one for the console and SPG housing and one for the compass module. On a shore dive from a rocky entry the boot absorbs the scrape that would otherwise land on the gauge face. In a dive bag it stops the console marking a mask lens or a regulator. After several seasons in strong sun the rubber hardens and cracks, and replacing it costs a fraction of the housing. Each is sold on its own so only the perished part is bought. They suit a diver refurbishing a Peregrine console, and the boot needed should be identified before ordering.
