PEREGRINE CONSOLE SPG

Description

A pressure gauge a diver has to convert in their head is a gauge that gets misread, and South African training, fills and dive planning are all in bar, which is why the scale on the module matters more than it looks. This is the replacement SPG for the Peregrine console in both scales. On a local dive with a bar filled cylinder the diver reads the number the fill station gave them. On a trip to the Caribbean or Florida, where PSI is the working unit, the imperial module keeps the diver in step with the boat crew. As a replacement it retires a gauge that has fogged, stuck or drifted, which is a fault worth taking seriously on a pressure reading. It fits the Peregrine and Peregrine TX consoles. It suits a diver rebuilding a console or correcting the scale, and bar is the sensible default for South African diving.
