Shearwater Peregrine Strap Kit

Description

A strap that will not close over a drysuit cuff is the reason a good computer ends up on a bungee, and a perished silicone band is the reason a good computer ends up on the sea floor. This kit replaces both problems. The standard length suits a bare wrist or a thin wetsuit sleeve. The long length clears a 7 mm suit or a drysuit seal and wrist ring without stretching the stainless clasp. On a warm water trip the standard band sits flat and comfortable all week. On a winter shore dive the long one closes over everything the diver is wearing. After a few seasons of sun and salt the original band goes chalky and stiff, and a fresh one costs a fraction of the computer it holds on. It fits the Peregrine and Peregrine TX at 26 millimetres. It suits any Peregrine owner changing length, colour or a worn band, and owning both lengths covers summer and winter diving.
