Description

A small internal volume is the one specification that matters more to a freediver than to anyone else, because every cubic centimetre inside the mask has to be filled from the lungs on the way down. The Perla is built with that in mind: separate lenses set close to the face and a skirt edge shaped to fit most faces, producing a volume small enough for breath-hold work while remaining perfectly usable on scuba. The lenses are sturdy tempered glass in a polycarbonate frame, and the silicone is soft, offered in transparent or dark. Strong rapid-action buckles adjust the strap quickly, including with cold hands. The assembly and materials are the same standard as Cressi's most technical range rather than a cheaper build. It suits a freediver or snorkeller who also dives on scuba and wants one low volume mask for both.
