PETREL 3 MONITOR (4-PIN)

Description

Cable length decides where a monitor can be mounted, and getting it wrong leaves a loop of slack to snag or a lead too short to reach the wrist, so the Petrel 3 Monitor comes in 18 inch and 30 inch runs. The 18 inch suits a chest mounted unit where the head sits close to the diver. The 30 inch reaches a back mounted counterlung or a sidemounted unit without strain on the connector. Either way the 2.6 inch AMOLED reads one to three oxygen sensors live over the 4-pin head and keeps five bailout gases a button press away, on a 290 metre body powered by a single replaceable AA. Vibration alerts carry through a hood on a cold shore dive where sound does not. It suits a closed circuit diver on a 4-pin unit who has measured the run to the wrist, and the Rigid Strain Relief Set protects the cable where it exits.
