PHAZER BUNGEE STRAP

The Aqua Lung Phazer bungee strap is the replacement heel strap for the Phazer fin, supplied as a pair with the custom buckle the Phazer uses. A bungee strap draws a fin against the heel under constant light tension, so it neither slips off in surge nor cuts into the back of a boot on a long swim.

The buckle is specific to the Phazer, which is the reason to buy the correct part rather than a generic bungee. A strap that does not seat properly in the buckle will release under load. Three lengths are offered so tension can be matched to boot thickness rather than stretched to fit. A bungee set too tight loses its elasticity within a season; one set too loose lets the fin move. The straps also fit other Aqua Lung fins built for adjustable or spring straps.

The result is the original tension restored to a fin that is otherwise sound, for a fraction of the cost of replacing the pair.

Supplied in black as a pair, in small, medium and large. Size from the boot that will be worn with the fin. Bungee is a wear item and is worth replacing before a trip rather than during one.
