Description

A fin blade that only bends absorbs energy on the down stroke and gives none of it back. The Phazer is built to return it, through elastomeric side ribs in a wave-shaped structure that load during the power stroke and release at a set point in the kick cycle. That is the reason this set costs more than a holiday one. It is paired with the Plazma, a frameless mask whose silicone is sealed straight to the lens so it crumples flat for packing and carries pressure reduction zones where a mask presses hardest, and the Zephyr Flex snorkel, whose two-material corrugate has a rigid internal skeleton so it folds clear of a regulator without collapsing at depth. Supplied in petrol. That answers a photographer holding position, a drift dive, and a long shore swim. It suits a diver buying a mask, fin and snorkel set for regular scuba use.
