Pink 6 ft. Signal Tube

The Innovative Scuba Concepts 6 ft. Signal Tube is a surface marker buoy (SMB) built to mark a diver's position at the surface, used during safety stops, decompression stops, or when signalling a boat after surfacing away from it. Shore divers can also use it to mark their position for anyone watching from land. At 6 feet (1.83 metres), it stands well above typical surface chop, and its high-visibility pink colour is designed to stand out clearly against open water. This is a required piece of safety equipment under PADI, NAUI, and SSI training standards, and it's one that every diver should carry on every dive.

Inflation is manual, via an oral inflation valve fitted with a lock to prevent accidental deflation once the tube is up and holding air. A pocket near the top of the tube allows a light, strobe, or chemical light stick to be attached for use during night dives or low-visibility conditions, extending the tube's usefulness beyond daylight signalling. The tube is compact enough to stow in a BCD pocket or clip directly onto a BCD D-ring, keeping it accessible without adding significant bulk to a kit setup.
