Piumetta and Mini Island Combo

Description

A first snorkelling set is bought to find out whether a child takes to the water at all, which is an argument for something simple and correctly sized rather than something technical. This pairing is exactly that: the Piumetta mask with the Mini Island snorkel, offered in blue with clear and clear with pink, the two colourways that mark it as a junior set. Buying mask and snorkel together matters more at this size than any other, because a mismatched pair drags the mask off the face every time the head turns, and a child will not persist through that. Worth stating plainly: Cressi publish no specification for either the Piumetta or the Mini Island, so lens material, volume, skirt and valve detail are not claimed here, and the fit should be checked against the child before use. That answers a pool, a rock pool and a first beach holiday. It suits a child trying snorkelling for the first time.
