Poseidon Xstream Black Regulator DIN

Description

Deep, cold and mixed gas diving each put extra load on a regulator, and the Poseidon Xstream Black is approved for all three. Its first stage uses a patented ruby ball seal positioned by a floating seat, which makes it self-balancing, so performance stays the same whatever the cylinder pressure. The Thermo Dynamic Antifreeze system uses the water flowing through the first stage to keep ice away without fluids or extra diaphragms. The regulator is approved to the EN250 cold water standard and for use under ice down to minus 1.6 degrees Celsius without a cold water kit, and it carries 200 m approval to the Norwegian Norsok U101 standard. It works with air, nitrox, trimix with up to 95% helium and 100% oxygen. The upstream, servo-assisted second stage keeps work of breathing low and can be used from the left or the right. On a trimix dive to depth, the self-balancing first stage keeps delivery steady as the cylinder drains. It suits a technical or cold water diver who needs a regulator approved for deep and mixed gas diving.
