Pro Light Fins

Description

Blade length is the obvious way to add power and the wrong one, because it adds weight and drag with it. The Pro Light gets the surface area elsewhere: the blade starts from the upper part of the foot pocket rather than the tip of it, which yields around 20 per cent more useful surface than a traditional fin of the same overall length. Side stringers run the whole length of the blade and two flaps sit at its end, and together they make the fin strongly directional rather than letting it wander through the kick. It is moulded from two materials with deliberately different properties, a strong polypropylene blade with soft thermo-rubber for the pocket and protective inserts, which is what makes it light and well balanced with a fast reaction time. Sizes XS to XXL in three colours. It suits a diver who wants thrust without a longer blade.
