Description

Baggage allowance is the quiet constraint on any dive trip, and a regulator set is one of the few places weight can still be saved without giving anything up. The Helix Pro first stage is 525 g in DIN, and this pack pairs it with a matching octopus, a pressure gauge and a bag sized for the three of them. The Pro part matters as much as the weight: an environmental chamber seals the mechanism from silt and salt, a heat exchanger resists ice at the second stage inlet, and an Auto Closure Device shuts the inlet the moment the set comes off a cylinder. Work of breathing is 0.95 joules per litre. That answers a flight to a warm-water trip, a cold quarry weekend at home, and a diver who wants one set for both. It suits a travelling diver buying a complete regulator set.
