The OM System PT-059 is an underwater housing built for the TG-7, TG-6, and TG-5, extending the camera's waterproof rating from 15m to 45m (150ft). Construction is durable polycarbonate, giving neutral buoyancy underwater and impact protection on land or at sea, with a transparent back design that shows water intrusion quickly if it occurs. The housing retains full access to camera controls, including zoom and flash mode, and its multi-coated glass port reduces internal reflections for clearer images.

A 52mm threaded lens mount supports wet wide-angle lenses, macro converters, and filters, and the housing can accommodate two external flash units for underwater photography via a fiber-optic strobe connection. A standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount on the base allows attachment to trays, arms, and lighting systems, and a detachable LCD hood improves screen visibility in bright conditions. The housing ships with an O-ring, optical cable adapter, body cap, LCD hood, antireflective ring, and hand strap.
