Description

Silicone fins are unusual, and the reason to want them is comfort: silicone stays soft against bare skin where rubber and plastic chafe, which is what makes a long training set bearable. The Pura is made from 100 per cent silicone for that reason, and it goes on easily rather than needing to be forced over the heel. As a short fin it is built for swimmers training legs and ankles intensively, and that work carries up into the abdominal and lumbar region, which is the point of training in fins at all rather than simply swimming faster. The same short blade makes it entirely usable for family snorkelling, where hours in the water matter more than speed. Sizes run XS (EU 35/38) to XL (EU 45/47). It suits a swimmer training in a pool, or a snorkeller who wants comfort over distance.
