PVC Marking Tape 48 mm x 30 m

Description

A strip of coloured tape round a cylinder valve or a BCD shoulder strap settles most arguments over whose kit is whose on a crowded dive boat. This PVC marking tape is a heavy-duty, waterproof tape on a soft 150 micron PVC backing, with a high-tack rubber resin adhesive that conforms to curved surfaces and resists abrasion. Dive centres and clubs use it to colour-code training kit, cylinders and stage bottles, so each set goes back to the right shelf after a course. Divers use it to tell a regulator, fins or kit bag apart from a buddy's identical gear. In the workshop it colour-codes hoses and pipework, and it has electrical insulating properties, with a dielectric breakdown of 6 kV. Each roll is 48 mm wide and 30 m long, in white, green, red, black or yellow. It bonds best to a clean, dry, grease-free surface and needs a firm rub down once applied. It suits dive centres, instructors and divers who want their kit easy to identify.
