Fourth Element Rec Fin Aqua/White

Description

This was the first scuba fin with a blade moulded from recycled post-consumer plastic waste, and the performance had to survive that claim rather than be excused by it. The blade runs a classic four-channel design, generating thrust on the upstroke as well as the down, which suits the finning styles recreational divers are actually taught. Stiffening ribs run the length of the blade to stop it folding under load, and that is what gives control in a frog kick or a back kick. The foot pocket is open-heel with an adjustable silicone heel strap that sets in six positions, and the strap is replaceable. Four sizes cover X Small, Small, Regular and X Large in aqua and white; black and grey is the sibling colourway. They take a dive boot such as the Pelagic, Amphibian or Rock Hopper. Fourth Element publish no weight. It suits a recreational diver who wants a recycled blade.
