Description
A vest with a hood is the easiest way to add warmth under a wetsuit, because it covers the chest, back, neck and head in one piece. The Reef dive vest is made from 3mm Nylon II neoprene with a 5mm hood attached, so the head gets extra protection against cold water. The face piece on the hood is made from 3mm petite rubber for a better seal around the face, which limits water entry. It is designed to sit under a one piece wetsuit for colder conditions, and the Reef one piece Barrier is described as warmer when a 3mm vest with hood is added. The vest suits cold water scuba and crayfish diving, and the wide size range from 2XS to 3XL makes it simple to match to the suit worn over it.
