Reef 5 Piece Traction Pad

Description

A five piece tail pad that gives a surfboard grip under the back foot. The EVA foam sits at a firm 45 to 50 degrees hardness, and the surface is cut in a diamond groove pattern for traction. A tail kick and an arch bar are built in, giving the back foot a definite place to push against when turning and when driving off the bottom. A 50 mm extension piece is supplied to lengthen the pad where more coverage is wanted. The pad is fixed with 3M glue to bond the pad to the deck. Total length is 330 mm. The grooves bite into the sole of the foot when wet, and the tail kick and arch bar help locate the back foot for turns. It is offered in black and in black with grey, each supplied in a printed retail pack.
