Description
The Reef Hatchet is an upright, solid fibreglass single fin for longboards, 9.5 inches tall (about 24 cm). Reef describes it as giving excellent pivot, hold and quick turning for classic nose riding and manoeuvrable logging in smaller to medium waves. The wide base and upright shape provide the stability needed for nosing, while the design pivots more easily than a raked fin, which makes it a go-to choice for traditional longboard styles. It is finished in smoked black with Reef Hatchet branding and fits boards with a longboard single fin box using the screw and plate fitting shown in the photos.
