Description

The Reef Mini-Mal SpeedEgg is a versatile surfboard that blends the mini-mal and egg shapes for a smooth, fast ride. The mini-mal outline is fuller and more rounded than a shortboard, which gives extra paddle power and stability for catching waves, yet it stays nimble enough for carving. The egg shape has a rounded nose, a fuller, wider midsection and a rounded or slightly square tail, and a flatter rocker helps the board glide and hold speed in small to medium waves. Reef describes it as suited to intermediate and advanced surfers, or to beginners who are progressing. The board is built with a polyurethane foam core, the traditional surfboard material, with a responsive flex. It is available in lengths from 7 ft 2 in (about 218 cm) to 8 ft 6 in (about 259 cm).
