Regulator Elbow 120 Degree

Description

A regulator gripped by the jaw to hold it in place causes fatigue over a long dive, and the cause is usually geometry rather than the second stage itself. This elbow sets a fixed 120 degree bend between the low pressure hose and the second stage, so the regulator sits square in the mouth instead of being twisted by the hose behind it. The bore through it is oversized, so the turn costs nothing in airflow reaching the mouthpiece. On sidemount and stage cylinders the bend also keeps the hose off the rig where it would otherwise snag, which is the geometry the angle was drawn for: SCUBAPRO build the same 120 degree elbow into their Sidemount Regulator Kit alongside its long primary hose. It screws into the hose port of the second stage and takes a standard low pressure hose. Fitting needs a spanner and the hose comes off first. It suits a diver whose second stage is being pulled out of line.
