RF Socks

Description

Cold feet end freediving sessions earlier than cold hands do, so this is a small garment with a large effect on water time. Its job is narrower than a dive boot's: keeping warmth in the feet inside a long-blade fin, not protecting the sole from a rocky entry. Construction is 3mm neoprene throughout with a textured panel across the sole for grip on a wet deck, and the seam runs down the front of the foot rather than under it, so nothing sits between the sole and the fin foot pocket. Bulk is kept deliberately low, because a freediving fin is sized to the foot and a thick sock changes that fit. Size them with the fin rather than buying them first: a sock chosen a size up will change the fit of a foot pocket that was correct without it. Sizing spans Small through 2X Large, black throughout. For scuba work in the same water, Hotfoot Pro or Thermocline fin socks fit better. It suits a freediver in a fitted fin pocket.
